On 13 and 14 December 2023, the last meeting of the D3PO project partners, hosted by the ASPAYM organisation, took place in Valladolid, Spain.
The partners from italy, spain, portugal and Greece met to finalise the project results.
During the meeting, the partners discussed the administrative parts of the project and the division of tasks. Soon the methodological handbook on the use of puzzles and how to implement them in a therapeutic process will be produced. The main goal is to use traditional cognitive development mechanics (puzzles) with a modern narrative-based approach (similar to escape rooms), which can be distributed to the general public in an economical and safe way (3D printing) and which allow the acquisition of competences such as teamwork, creativity or lateral thinking, extremely useful in the work environment, while promoting inclusivity, tolerance and the value of the individual as a fundamental pillar of the society of the future.
Furthermore, on 13 December, the partners jointly held the multiplication event at the Emilio Ferrari Institute. More than 60 people of different backgrounds and ages participated in the event. After a short introduction to the project, the event participants had the opportunity to try out the puzzles. Everyone showed enthusiasm and interest in the project.
The partners will also hold their own multiplier event in their own countries. Stay tuned for event dates.
